Radar Panamá follows these principles in everything it publishes.
1. Editorial line and scope
Radar Panamá publishes current news, practical guides, rankings, interviews and studies based on its own data about business, the economy, health and wellness, real estate and construction, and professional services and technology in Panama. The goal is for entrepreneurs, professionals and consumers to have clear, dated and verifiable information.
2. Accuracy and sources
Every relevant fact is attributed to its source: official bodies, companies, studies or identified persons. The publication’s own figures are accompanied by the methodology used to obtain them. Sensationalism is avoided and context is provided.
3. Dates and updates
Every article shows its publication date and, where applicable, the date of its last update. Rankings and price guides are reviewed at least every six months.
4. Rankings and comparisons
Rankings include real companies in the sector, selected and ordered according to criteria explained in the article itself. No company can pay to appear in a ranking or for its position.
5. Independence and commercial separation
Editorial decisions respond to journalistic and usefulness criteria, not to commercial pressure. Advertising is identified as such and commercially supported content is visibly labelled. The opinions of interviewees are their own and do not necessarily represent the position of the publication.
6. Authorship
Each piece is signed by an author identified by their real name and public profile on the Site, or by the Editorial team in the case of brief news items. Guest experts sign with their name and position.
7. Use of artificial intelligence tools
The team may use artificial intelligence tools as support for documentation, transcription, summarising or editing tasks. Final review and responsibility for each piece are always human, and information is verified before publication.
8. Corrections, updates and retractions
- Corrections: errors are corrected in the article itself with a dated note.
- Updates: it is indicated when a story evolves.
- Retractions: substantially incorrect content is withdrawn or rectified with a note.
