The G700 is built on a ladder frame with cross members, like traditional off-roaders, and adds twin differential locks, 230 mm of ground clearance and 900 mm of wading depth. Unlike the T1 and T2, which use a monocoque body, it is designed for demanding off-road use.

Jetour G700 safety: 10 airbags and ADAS assistance

The G700 carries 10 airbags and an ADAS package that includes autonomous emergency braking, adaptive cruise control and 360° cameras. In the sources consulted as of September 2026 there is no published NCAP programme rating for the G700.

Safety equipment of the 6-seat version sold in Panama, according to Deagencia:

  • ADAS assistance: forward collision warning with autonomous emergency braking, rear collision warning, lane assist, adaptive cruise control and blind spot monitor.
  • Visibility and parking: 360° cameras and front and rear proximity sensors.
  • Stability and slopes: stability control, hill start and hill descent assist, electric parking brake with auto-hold.
  • Protection: 10 airbags and tyre pressure monitor.

Not yet having an independent crash test does not mean it is unsafe, but it does mean there is no external reference to compare it with its rivals, as the T1 has with its ASEAN NCAP result.

Jetour G700 technology and interior: screens and comfort

The 6-seat G700 combines a 15.6-inch central screen, a 17.3-inch rear screen and an 18-speaker audio system, with front seats that are heated, ventilated and massaging.
